Pate Ranch Creations is a family-owned Texas business built around craftsmanship, tradition, and a belief that the things we bring into our homes should have a story worth telling.

Founded by James and Alisha Pate, two engineers who traded the corporate world for a more hands-on way of life, Pate Ranch has grown from a love of making into a boutique workshop creating distinctive goods for ranches, lodges, businesses, universities, and families across the country.

From our signature handcrafted boot jacks and leather goods to lodge pieces, corporate gifts, and custom recognition, our work is designed to feel substantial, useful, and lasting. We aren't interested in making more just for the sake of making more. We believe in making the right things—and making them exceptionally well.

Our Texas ranch isn't simply where we work. It is a big part of what inspires the Pate Ranch aesthetic: natural materials, rich leather, beautiful wood, western heritage, and pieces meant to be used for years rather than seasons.

Whenever possible, we incorporate wood harvested from our own property, giving some of our pieces an even deeper connection to the land where they were created. Much of our work is made from scratch in our Texas shop, allowing us to control the materials, craftsmanship, and details from beginning to end.

That hands-on approach is important to us. So is knowing exactly where a product came from and who made it.

Our engineering backgrounds still show up in the way we work. We care about fit, function, repeatability, materials, and the little details most people never think about—but absolutely notice when they're done right.

Technology is part of our workshop, but it isn't our identity. It allows us to pair modern precision with traditional woodworking and leathercraft to create products that are distinctly Pate Ranch.

The result is something we like to think sits right between rugged and refined: authentic enough for the ranch, polished enough for the boardroom, and personal enough to become part of someone's story.

Traditions Worth Honoring

We are proud to create officially licensed products that celebrate university traditions, including our work as a licensed vendor for Texas A&M University.

We are equally honored by our relationship with Folds of Honor and the opportunity to support an organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the families of America's fallen and disabled service members.

Whether we're creating a university keepsake, a corporate gift, an award recognizing years of service, or a boot jack destined for someone's ranch house, we understand that many of the things we make represent something bigger than the product itself.
