There’s a difference you can feel in good leather from the weight of it in your hand and the texture of the grain to the scent of a fresh hide and the natural variation that gives each piece its character.

At Pate Ranch Creations, much of our leather work begins with the hide in our Texas shop. We cut, shape, press, stitch, engrave, emboss, and finish our pieces with an appreciation for the material and the craftsmanship that goes into making something well.

We work with genuine leathers made from carefully selected sources, including English bridle leather, full-grain American leather, vegetable-tanned leather, and distinctive hides such as Montana bison. Each has its own feel, grain, weight, and character. We choose the leather to suit the piece.

For those who want something uniquely their own, many pieces can be made custom with names, logos, engraving, embossing, printing or original designs.
